Hi, I'm Yannick

I'm a sound designer for video games, originally from Munich, Germany. Thank you for listening to my work!I have always had an interest in games, having grown up with a lot of gaming in my childhood. At the same time, I have always loved to experiment with DAWs and sound on my computer, which lead me to the wonderful craft of sound design.Combining these interests lead me to what I am now: a sound designer who is passionate about sound design, audio system design and storytelling. I’m especially drawn to narrative-driven action-adventure games in sci-fi and fantasy settings, where sound plays a vital role in building fantastic, believable experiences. I bring this passion to every project I work on - whether recording sounds in the studio or implementing sound effects through audio middleware.I work from Mainz, Germany, as a creative and technical sound designer with Formosa Interactive, Boom Sound Library and Audiokraft.


Currently, I work as an audio designer on Project Zomboid with Formosa Interactive. I'm creating new sound design as well as audio implementation for the game.Beyond work, I participate in game jams regularly and learn about game development in my spare time. I also like to play basketball, record my own sound effects and explore the latest video games.
